Ferenc Jakab passed away

The staff of the National Laboratory for Health Security were shocked to learn of the unexpected, tragic death of Ferenc Jakab. Feri gave us a lot of support and together we struggled through the trying times of the pandemic, but always with optimism and focus on the challenges ahead. With boundless energy, he worked for Hungary, for science and for the health of our fellow citizens. We are grateful for his friendship and we will cherish his memory and his intellectual heritage.
