The VI. Opportunities and Challenges Conference was held at the Óbuda University on 1 February 2024 with the participation of colleagues and experts from the Health Safety National Laboratory Data-Driven Health Division.
This year, the VI. Opportunities and Challenges Conference was held to inform healthcare and medical device professionals and manufacturers about national and international innovations, the regulatory environment, development resources and regulatory updates. The conference was about the opportunities and challenges that shape the work of professionals in this area, as the name of the conference suggests. In parallel to the presentations, a trade exhibition provided the audience with an opportunity to discover innovative medical devices and services. Several colleagues and experts of the Semmelweis University Health Services Management Training Center were represented at the conference. Dr. Miklós Szócska, Director of the Centre, Head of the Health Safety National Laboratory Data-Driven Health Division, gave a presentation entitled "Data-driven health as systemic capability is one of the breakthrough directions". Dr Tamás Palicz, Deputy Director of the Centre, who took part in the preparations of the conference, moderated a panel discussion entitled „Social Benefit from Personal Data”. Dr. Tamás Joó, Head of the Health Safety National Laboratory Data-Driven Health Division, Vice President of the Hungarian Health Management Society and Adjunct Professor at the Centre also attended this panel discussion.
